What is an auto webinar?
An auto webinar is auto emulation of “live” webinar, that you can play for new participants without setting up and hosting of new broadcasting.
- In “Website/Webinars” section a “live” webinar is hosted.
- During the “live” webinar a script is being recorded where all speakers’ actions as well as comments of all participants are logged.
- On the ground of the script the auto webinar is launched: playing according to the script that emulates online webinar.
- selling blocks;
- presentations (slides);
- comments moderation and separating viewers off;
- pages-teasers “before start” and “after finish”;
- limitations on access to the webinar.

Scripts
Script is recorded during the “live” webinar - a record starts at the moment of room opening. After webinar is finished the script will appear in a general scripts list in 15 minutes (“Webinars” section - “Scripts”).
Note: recorded webinars that are more than 5 Mb cannot be formed.

A script is a set of commands and parameters related to condition and appearance of the webinar room. Script editor allows editing it as well as creating, editing or deleting of an operation. For example, you can edit comment text, name of its author, choose or clear “Employee” checkbox (employees’ names are highlighted in red, employees can send links to a chat).
Please note: if you delete a selling block or presentation connected to a script, this command won’t be launched when it’s time.

Auto video rewinding in the script
When hosting the “live” webinar an offset value (the beginning of video playing) for the script is fixed automatically at the moment of pressing “Start online stream” button.

In “Video” block (including videos from YouTube), you can customize time when a stream is started playing. In order to do it indicate a time in seconds in “Offset” field.
When users watch the auto webinar, a video record is automatically rewound (“cut”) for them.
The purpose of it:- You can create the auto webinar fast without additional settings.
- You don’t need to download a video and cut it in a dedicated software.
Hosting of the auto webinar
The auto webinar differs from the “live” webinar. It doesn’t support a new stream, instead already recorded video is played. Also, auto webinars are fully automated. You can’t manage visibility of selling blocks as well as appearance of the webinar room. You can only moderate comments. The rest is done according to the script. It is possible to end the auto webinar up at any moment.
You don’t need to connect presentations and selling blocks to the auto webinar - it already has links to them in the script. One script can be used in different webinar rooms.
If you edit this script, changes will influence all rooms with this particular script.
“Before start” and “after finish” pages-teasers are not included to the script. They are indicated in webinar room settings as with a regular webinar.
The auto webinar is created similarly to a “live” webinar in “Webinars” section - “Create a webinar”. You need to choose “Auto webinar” type, to select a script for it and specify its name as well as start time:

“Separate chat off from all “live” viewers” option allows you to limit opportunities of real viewers communicate with each other. They will see only own comments and those comments which are included to the script.
All comments left by users in a chat will be shown in his profile in “Comments” tab.
- According to schedule
- At certain time
- As frequent simultaneous launches
- In script revision mode (manually).
You can find more information about each mode in this article: “How Often Can I Host Auto-Webinars at GetCourse?”
Pay attention: time is show according to timezone of Moscow city (UTC +03.00) as everywhere in GetCourse.

There is an opportunity to turn on a notification on receiving a message from a “live” viewer on the auto webinar.
In this case administrators will receive notifications from browser to desktop when a message is coming.
To receive notifications you need to allow notifications sending in your browser.
You will be requested for the same permission either if a relevant checkbox is ticked or when receiving a message from a “live” user (if this checkbox is clear).
The notification on receiving of a message from a “live” viewer won’t be sent to administrators if users were separated off

Auto webinar script starts playing at indicated time, thus the auto webinar is launched automatically. You can’t force it to start.
Before the first launch “before start” page is shown.
- The room is not opened - the script has not started yet.
- The auto webinar is on - the script is being played.
- The auto webinar is off - the script has finished yet (the room is closed).
Appearance of the room during the script playing is defined not by the condition of the auto webinar, but by commands included to the script. I.e. selling blocks begin will be shown in the room at the moment indicated in the script.
After the script is finished, “after finish” page is shown.
You can force the auto webinar to end by clicking on “Close the room” button. After that you can start it again and indicate a new start time. An hour before start “before start” page appears. When it is start time, the script start playing.

Restart of the auto webinar which was launched according to schedule or at certain time is performed as follows:
If a gap between closing of the webinar room (finish of the auto webinar) and start of the next auto webinar is:
1. More than 4 hours - the webinar room restarts in 3 hours after finishing the previous auto webinar.
An example: the previous auto webinar ended up at 12.00, the next one will start at 16.00 or later. Restart of the webinar room will be at 15.00.
2. Less than 4 hours - the webinar room restarts in ⅓ of the gap between finish of the previous auto webinar and start of the nest one.
An example: the previous auto webinar ended up at 12.00, the next one will start at 14.00 or later. Restart of the webinar room will be at 12.40.
What users see when trying to go to auto webinar page:
If “before start” and “after finish” pages are specified, then after finish of the auto webinar (closing of the webinar room) “after finish” page is shown until the restart of the webinar room. After restart and before the next auto webinar “before start” page is shown.
Pay attention: users who got to “after finish” page will stay there; they won’t be redirected to the next auto webinar.
If “before start” and “after finish” pages are not specified, then after finish of the auto webinar (closing of the webinar room) a user will stay on a webinar room page. After its restart he will see a new webinar room for the next stream.
Export/Import of the script
After script generation you can export it.
You also can import a prepared script:

The following script formats are supported:
1) Bizon365 format
When using this format comments will be restored (post parameters) as well as video file (goOnline parameter).
2) GetCourse own format - a script is exported to CSV
Format of a file with the script
- File format: CSV
- Separator: semi column (;).
- Encoding: UTF-8 with BOM.
- Decimal separator - a dot (number values are used in offset).
In the file should be the following columns:
1. Time from start in seconds (number with a dot).
2. A command:
- Condition of the webinar room;
- Appearance:
- A comment;
- A slide;
- A selling block;
- A video;
- Number of “live” viewers”
- A chat
3. Command parameter No. 1
4. Command parameter No. 2
5. Command parameter No. 3
Commands and parameters
1) Condition - defines the condition of the webinar room. The script should always start with open command and end with finish command.There is only one parameter with value options:
- The room is opened.
- The webinar is finished.
- Video only
- Video and slides
- Slides (and a voice) only.
It has three parameters:
- Viewer’s name
- Message text
- Is employee or isn’t (1 or 0).
It has only one parameter:
- Slide ID (you can view it on presentation view page).
It has two parameters:
- Block ID (you can view it on a page with a list of selling blocks).
- Shown/Hidden.
6) Number of “live” viewers - shows number of “live” viewers. There is only one parameter:
- Number of viewers in a figure.
- Number of viewers isn’t depicted until the first command in the script is launched.
- 0 - the chat is off
- 1 - the chat is on
- ID of the video on YouTube.
Pay attention: The script launches commands at specified time, but due to different Internet and video buffering (on YouTube) speed there could be a mistiming up to 90 seconds between a video and a comment.
When editing the script take a delay into account and specify time for commands as 30-60 seconds, for slides and selling blocks - 20-40 seconds from a key moment in the video.
