On GetCourse platform there is no opportunity to indicate cost of a click of cost of redirection to calculate total expenses for a channel. Instead, you need to add costs actually incurred and to distribute them across channels.
Efficiency is assessed with regard to total costs actually incurred for channels and to amount of target actions.
There are manual and auto reflection of expenses.
Addition of expenses manually
To add expenses to a promo channel you need to click on channel ID in «Traffic» section in «Channels» tab.
Depending on your task you need to add expenses by clicking on a relevant button.
You also need to indicate amount of expenses as well as the beginning and the end of period when these expenses were incurred.
Groups of expenses
You can create a group of channel expenses to reflect expenses for a promotional campaign of this channel.
Addition of expenses for a promotional campaign is performed from a channel.
In a group of expenses you can manually choose a campaign which expenses are related to. «Condition to be met» section — «utm_group» is used when setting up auto uploading of expenses.
Upon creating a group of expenses you are able to distribute expenses across all groups-campaigns when adding new expenses or editing existent ones.
When viewing a channel you see expenses metrics (number of expenses and its amount).
In «Expenses groups» section of a channel you see a number of expenses and its total amount. A table below shows expenses by each channel group;
